Administration Plant ProtectionEsti Koriyat
Plant Protection research covers subjects dealing with identification and control of pests and causal agents of plant diseases (insects, mites, fungi, bacteria, viruses, phytoplasmas, nematodes and noxious weeds), as well as the biology of beneficial insects used for pollination and honey production. Basic and applied research is directed to solve problems by obtaining pest- and disease-free produce using environmentally-friendly means, thereby reducing damage to agriculture and the countryside.
