The research in the lab focuses on the dynamics of pest populations and natural enemies in agricultural systems. We examine how to develop pest control managements that regulate pests in an environmentally friendly manner and how to enhance the activity of natural enemies in orchards, field crops, and covercrops. The research is conducted both in the field and in the lab, combining ecological work, computational tools, and genetic information.
