As colleagues in research and proud Israelis, our hearts go out to the Weizmann Institute’s community after the missile strike that destroyed three key research buildings and inflicted at least 2 billion shekels (approx. $570 million) in physical damage.
Countless experiments and invaluable freezers were obliterated; it’s not just infrastructure, it’s knowledge. The loss of irreplaceable scientific samples and rare materials—fragments of years of meticulous work in cancer, environmental, and life‑science research will be difficult to replace; however, we trust that the scientists will find solutions.
We stand shoulder‑to‑shoulder with Weizmann’s researchers.
Science is built on resilience – Together, we will rise again.
