The Rozenstein Lab seeks a postdoc & doctorate student for the assimilation of remote sensing measurements in crop growth models

Our research is both fundamental and applied in nature. Its goal is to utilize remote sensing data (from drones and satellites), together with meteorological information and additional measurements, to generate insights that will improve cultivation practices and support growers’ decision-making. Our studies combine fieldwork with intensive data analysis using quantitative methods.

If you possess qualities such as curiosity, high intelligence, diligence, ambition, and strong independent working skills, we would be glad to consider your suitability for our team.

Our team includes students from diverse backgrounds: from agronomy (plant sciences, soil and water sciences), through geography, to engineering (civil, environmental, mechanical, electrical, and data).

A background in scientific programming and remote sensing data processing is desirable.

Qualified candidates should send their CV to Dr. Offer Rozenstein via Email: offerr@volcani.agri.gov.il
