The Best Lab” focuses on genetic engineering of plant organelles, including chloroplast and mitochondrial genomes. Our research encompasses development of” transplastomic technologies, gene editing, and gene expression regulation to enhance resilience to abiotic and biotic stresses, such as heat, drought, salinity, and climate change, while improving crop yield and photosynthetic efficiency. The lab aims to advance sustainable agriculture, crop resilience, and innovative tools for
improving plant productivity and stress tolerance.
