Our laboratory operates at the interface of materials science, biopolymers and biology. Our goal is to introduce advanced approaches from materials chemistry and polymer science into food science, plant research, biomedicine, and agriculture. Our core expertise lies in carbohydrates, polysaccharides, and saccharide-bearing materials (glycosides). The research in our lab is grounded in the rational design of advanced glycoside materials with broad scientific and practical applications.
Requirements: Degree in Chemistry/Material Science/Biology/Biochemistry/Plant Science Advantage for applicants with an experience in glycobiology/plant science/ biomaterials/ biopolymers/glycosides/formulations.
The topics in the lab combine basic and applied research with the possibility of collaborating with the industry. Excellent conditions, advanced equipment (see on the lab’s site) and pleasant atmosphere are suggested.
