Dr. Jakob Biran spoke at the “Sea the Future” conference about the second most cultured fish globally – the Nile tilapia.
Dr. Biran’s laboratory’s method for genome editing in Nile tilapia was utilized to generate stable tilapia strains with solid red coloration and enhanced muscle phenotypes.
