The Volcani Institute hosted a dedicated outreach event aimed at encouraging women to pursue careers in agricultural and scientific research.
Around 30 PhD candidates and postdoctoral researchers from across Israel joined us to get a closer look at the instituteโs work, explore its diverse research fields, and meet Volcani women scientists, both senior and early-career researchers, who shared their personal journeys, challenges, achievements, and the strong professional and supportive environment within the institute.
The event is part of our ongoing commitment to nurturing the next generation of women scientists and strengthening womenโs leadership at the forefront of science, innovation, and agriculture in Israel.
