Research Interests
My research effort is dedicated to improve agricultural sustainability. Specifically, my group works on different perspectives of the nitrogen (N), phosphorous (P) and carbon (C) cycles in soils, ranging from the microbial/molecular level through the field scale and the farmers’ needs. We mainly address problems in nutrient uptake efficiency, greenhouse gas emissions, leaching of nutrients into the environment, nutrient availability from bio-wastes, soil oxygen, and carbon sequestration in soils.
