Nitzan Malachy is a research engineer in the Remote Sensing Laboratory, holding a Master’s degree in Water Sciences from Tel-Hai Academic College. Nitzan specializes in optimizing irrigation in field crops and orchards using remote sensing, drone operation, and processing drone and satellite sensing data. He has extensive experience in operating and programming meteorological, underground, multispectral, thermal, and LiDAR sensors, as well as in calculating evaporation using the Eddy Covariance method and creating orthophotos and 3D models.
