I am a plant physiologist that study water transport in plants to understand their response to drought stress and develop sustainable water use strategies for agricultural systems.

Research Interests
The research focus on hydraulic traits (e.g. hydraulic conductance, xylem embolism, stomatal regulation, osmotic adjustment) as a function of environmental conditions and the plant’s phenology.
Research Areas
Grapevines hydraulics in response to deficit irrigation
Passive stomatal regulation: the role of subsidiary cells
Mitigating berry cracking through regulated deficit irrigation
Hydraulic responses of grapevines to potassium availability
