Biography
Efrat is a PhD student at the School of Business Administration at Bar Ilan University.
Efrat Has a bachelor’s degree in economics and management from the Open University, and a master’s degree in business administration with a specialization in information systems from the Open University.
Efrat Has a rich background in leading and strategic management of advanced information systems in large organizations.
Her research interests are focused on the impact of integrating artificial intelligence based systems on individual employees, teams and organizations.

Research Interests
This research examines the impact of artificial intelligence on decision making, managerial accountability, and change management in organizations, with a particular focus on public sector and highly regulated environments. The study explicitly bridges the worlds of technology, organizational practice, and leadership, exploring the gap and connection between hands on AI implementation and managerial decision making, governance, and organizational change.
Grounded in applied experience leading digital and AI transformation in complex organizations, and complemented by theoretical analysis of shifting professional roles, authority structures, human AI interaction, and trust mechanisms, the research aims to develop practical managerial frameworks that support responsible, effective, and sustainable leadership in the age of intelligent systems.
