Research Interests
My research integrates agro-chronobiology, behavioral ecology, and biological control to develop innovative approaches for managing pests in grain storage. I investigate the impacts of environmental and biological factors on the behavior of both pest and beneficial insects, and create models to predict their population dynamics. Moreover, I lead research initiatives for the national emergency grain storage monitoring and research unit.
Research Areas
Agro-chronobiology – Implementing the knowledge in the field of the biological clocks in favor of agriculture
Biological control and "ecology of fear"-Implementing ecology of fear in the context of insect pest management
Spatial and temporal patterns of insect pests-Storage insects dynamics: Community dynamics and species interactions in light of future climate changes
