The Urban Forest Lab seeks a Doctorate or a Postdoc for an Urban Trees Ecophysiology research 馃尦

The Urban Forest Lab is seeking top-tier students for diverse, groundbreaking research examining the function and health of the urban forest. By integrating IoT sensors, various measurement tools, advanced modeling, and physiological measurements, we study how to optimize the future urban forest in Israel and globally in the face of climate change.

Requirements:

Candidates with an academic background in Plant Sciences, Geoinformatics (GIS), Urban Planning, Soil and Water Sciences, or Climatology are preferred.

Field Expertise: Get practical experience with state-of-the-art physiological equipment and custom sensor building. Technical Proficiency: Learn to develop and maintain advanced sensor-driven monitoring networks. Analytical Capabilities: Master meteorological data analysis, energy balance modeling, and the study of tree responses to drought stress.
