The Sadka-Nir Lab seeks a Post – Doc for Characterizing the function of a citrus gene that promotes juice sac formation in a fruit lacking them and induces juice sac-like structures in tomato fruit

• Molecular genetics and genome engineering

• Plant transformation and transgenic approaches

• Advanced microscopy and cellular analysis

• Gene expression and developmental phenotyping

Requirements:

A curious, creative and highly motivated scientist with a PhD in plant biology, molecular biology, genetics, developmental biology, or a related field, who is excited by fundamental discovery and the possibility of engineering fruit development.
