Our lab鈥檚 research focuses on the behavior and physiology of arthropod pests. We investigate the sensory information they utilize for foraging, mate-seeking, and predator avoidance, and develop methods to harness this information for effective, eco-friendly pest control solutions. The lab integrates ecological research with agricultural science to develop innovative strategies such as biological control, fear-based management, smart monitoring protocols, and organic pesticides.
Requirements: B.Sc. in Biology, Environmental Science, Ecology, Plant Protection, Agro-ecology, or related fields. Equally important: A strong sense of curiosity and a passion for the field; an open mind and a willingness to learn; diligence, a strong work ethic, and excellent interpersonal skills.
