PFAS (the “Forever Chemicals”) are everywhere, and current tech canโt stop them. We are developing tunable, layered nanostructures designed to selectively “grab” and then chemically degrade these molecules.
Requirements: We are seeking motivated graduate students in Chemistry, Environmental Sciences, or Soil and Water Sciences, who combine curiosity and creativity with a strong problem-solving mindset and a passion for lab work, to lead breakthrough research on the removal and degradation of PFAS contaminants.
Gain experience with: Material development and characterization, water treatment and removal processes, and modeling of chemical interactions.
