Dani Eshel and Itay Maoz’s Laboratories are seeking a Master’s student/ PostDoc for a collaborative project – Investigating the molecular and biochemical process governing potato dormancy release 馃

An exciting interdisciplinary research project investigating potato tuber dormancy and sprouting.

Requirements: A highly motivated candidate with a degree in Plant Sciences, Biology, Biochemistry, Chemistry, or a related field .EXPERIENCE In plant physiology, molecular biology, chromatography, volatile analysis, Postharvest research, or starch analysis (microscopy and chemical methods) is an advantage.

Three research images: a green potato seedling growing in a pot; two mature potato tubers; a red-toned microscopy image showing lipid droplets inside plant tissue cells.

This collaborative project combines expertise from two laboratories and integrates plant physiology, molecular genetics, microscopy, and analytical biochemistry. like Gas chromatography (GC), High-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC).
