New self-fertile almond cultivars have demonstrated strong potential for high yields under the growing conditions at Neve Ya’ar. These cultivars exhibit high fruit quality, including desirable kernel appearance and color, favorable size dimensions, texture, and taste. They haven’t been evaluated in commercial orchard trials and are currently being assessed within the framework of the National Almond Program (Growing Agriculture Initiative; GAI).
