תחומי עניין / תאור תפקיד
ביולוגיה מערכתית באקולוגיה וחקלאות. בקבוצת המחקר אנו מתמקדים ביישום ופיתוח שיטות חישוביות לצורך לימוד מערכות אקולוגיות מורכבות. אנו מקווים להבין טוב יותר את העקרונות המנחים במערכות בעלות חשיבות חקלאית וסביבתית על מנת לשפר את הגישות המיושמות כיום. נושאי המחקר כוללים: (1) תכנון מושכל של קהילות חיידקים לצורך ייעול תהליכי פירוק וייצור ולצורך תכנון אסטרטגיות של הדברה ביולוגית (2) שימוש בשיטות ריצוף חדישות (next generation sequencing) לצורך פיתוח סמנים חדשים בצמחי יבול והשבחת זנים. אתר הקבוצה: http://app.agri.gov.il/shiri/http://app.agri.gov.il/shiri/
