Unveiling regulatory mechanisms ruling milk secretion; milk composition as affected by mastitis and by commercial storage; milk quality for the dairy industry and consumer heath.

Position Held

 

 

1990 to date: Research Scientist at the A.R.O., The Volcani Center, Institute of Animal Science; currently head of the "Biology of lactation Laboratory".

 

International Functions

 

1994:                 Scientific advisory committee, The Eighth International Symposium on Ruminant Physiology, Willingen, Germany.

2001:               Organizing committee, FAO and CIHEAM, The International Symposium on Goat Nutrition, September 2001, Tunis.

2003 to date     Appointed as an Associate Editor (Lactation) in Small Ruminant Research.
