Research Interests / Job description
I am a new researcher at the Department of Fruit Trees Sciences, located in the Newe Ya'ar research center. I am interested in fruits. I am interested in their development, ripening and decay. By using tools from the fields of genetics and molecular biology I am trying to answer questions regarding the timing of reproductive bud break in deciduous trees, the metabolic processes occurring during fruit ripening and the factors that determines fruit shelf life and rate of deterioration.
